We were more than obliging when our neighbour renovated and put his pool in. He asked to use our driveway as it was closer to where the pool was being installed. The fence was removed and every day we had to move our cars by 6am. We would come home to a mess, see his tradies using our taps to hose down their wheelbarrows etc and later on also our power. We kept quiet to maintain the peace with them as we were starting renovations soon after. As soon as ours started his personality changed and he would pick on everything we did, sending pictures of what he didn’t like etc. we replied nicely until one day we asked him to give us some space and respect like we gave him, Hasn’t spoken to us since,

About 10 yr ago the house next door was bought by a couple living 50 miles away. Their daughter lived in it during her time at the university in town. I won’t go into the issues accompanying a 19 yr old, her boyfriend, & a roommate living next door without supervision!
The owners decided to replace the fence between our properties. I came home one day to no fence. You’d think replacing a fence wouldn’t take very long, right? The guy replacing the fence had vehicle issues, so no fence for 3 months. I had to take my dog out on a leash, including before the sun came up & at bedtime in the dead of winter.
There was NO advance notice & no communication from the homeowners unless I called them.
Thankfully, they sold after about 2 years.
