Love the ladder idea, giving instant access to the high storage.

The kitchen is more better after renovation, but better to use more elegant elements.

What a lovely reno. Would not be my choice of colour scheme but this one is so refreshing and works well throughout the house. Dividing the kitchen window with that slim wall to separate it from the entrance, is ingenious. Just one Q that intrigues me - the island does indeed look more like a table but I can't see how thighs would fit beneath those drawers or legs avoid its lower shelf?!
