Thanks Clare for the artificial plant info. I've been looking for some decent, quality faux plants online and up till now have not been impressed. Those from 'Artificial Green' look amazing and have a price that matches their quality.

Is there a reason to use faux plants? It’s well known that ‘real houseplants’ help to filter indoor air pollution. It’s not too difficult to look after them!

jholmden... I do have 'live' plants as well but I have 'death fingers'... even those plants that thrive on neglect die at my hands. Just one of many instances: Lost 2 trailing ivy plants I put in my bathroom but have now settled on a faux fern from Hello Flora. I do have a 'lucky bamboo tower' also in my bathroom but every so often have to replace the stems which also die on me. But that basically is thriving...
