Houzz Launches Houzz Pro Business Software for Irish Pros
Houzz Pro brings renovation pros business management software and marketing features in a single solution
Houzz Pro is the only business software on the market that builders and renovation professionals can use to manage the full project life cycle, including attracting and converting new clients, creating estimates, communicating with clients and handling billing all in one place.
The new tools are just one aspect of the Houzz Pro Resilience Initiative, designed to help pros strengthen their businesses, stay connected to one another, their clients and their teams, and tap into the power of the Houzz community.
“Houzz Pro was born from listening to feedback from our pro community, and it’s important to us that this powerful solution is both affordable and easy to use,” he says. “We understand pros in our community are facing new challenges with Covid-19 and, given these unique demands, we are providing the software to all our existing pro subscribers as part of their subscription.”
The new tools within Houzz Pro enable construction professionals to manage their businesses from their desktop computers or from the Houzz Pro app. Builders and renovation specialists who subscribe to Houzz Pro can also benefit from new marketing and advertising features, such as enhanced analytics, and new profile features, such as a company highlight video and featured reviews.

Pros can upload estimates or use the new estimate creation tool within Houzz Pro, which enables builders and renovation specialists to build fast, accurate estimates from scratch. Pros can save templates they have customised for use on future projects.
Construction pros using the Houzz Pro tools can send estimates via email or chat to clients for approval with a digital signature.
The messaging tool within Houzz Pro tracks the entire client communication history, including chat, email, photos and documents, payment requests, invoices, change orders and timelines, and all client approvals.
Pros can use Houzz Pro to proactively communicate project status to clients through a built-in dashboard. Pros can choose which content they want clients to see on the client dashboard before sharing it, and a preview function allows pros to confirm everything is correct before sending.
The dashboard includes message history; a graphic and interactive project timeline that pros can build and then share with clients, and daily logs, where pros can share regular updates of what’s happening on the job site, photos and more.
5. Attract clients with new marketing tools
In addition to business management software, Houzz Pro subscribers can use new marketing and advertising features, including website building and hosting services, to stand out, build their brands on Houzz and attract new clients.

- The featured review showcases a handpicked review prominently on the pro’s profile and Houzz directory listing.
- Enhanced analytics through Houzz Pro gives subscribing pros insights into how their profiles are resonating most with the Houzz community.
- Website building and hosting. Subscribers to Houzz Pro can have the Houzz team build, host and manage a professional website as part of any paid subscription package.
Professionals can use Houzz Pro’s built-in room measurement tool to scan the floor and capture a room’s dimensions, accounting for existing windows or doors.
The tool will store the room’s dimensions and generate true-to-scale floor plans of the client’s home or property. Pros can save and modify these plans in the Houzz Pro 3D floor planner on a computer.
The 3D view can help clients visualise the layout and scale of products within a space, as well as design updates, such as removing a wall or adding a wall colour, a window or furniture. At any point in the process, pros can generate a 3D rendering for a space by clicking on the Walkthrough view. Or they can click on the Dollhouse view to display a room’s design from above.
The Houzz Pro Video Meetings feature makes it easy for both homeowners and pros to set up a virtual discussion at any stage of the project. Designers can make any meeting a video meeting and continue to build rapport with clients through virtual conversations.
When designers integrate their calendar with the Houzz Pro Video Meetings scheduler, they have the option of promoting virtual consultations on their Houzz profile and in their directory listing. This enables homeowners beginning a new project to directly book an introductory video meeting and connect when a pro has availability.
When a homeowner wants to book a video meeting, a calendar with the pro’s availability will pop up. The homeowner can simply select a preferred date and time. Homeowners can provide their name, email, postcode and a short description of their project.
The scheduled video meeting will then automatically be added to both the pro’s and the homeowner’s online calendars with a meeting link.
Houzz Pro subscription packages are priced to fit any budget or team. Visit www.houzz.ie/pro to learn about features and pricing.
