@jh Also check out eBay and Amazon, Facebook etc. Remember you can buy cabinets with doors/drawer fronts and then have custom fronts made or repainted to your specification. Make sure you get enough cabinets to complete each area which needs matching cabinets. Ideally keep cabinet widths as large and consistent as possible or symetrical. So you might have to buy more cabinets than you really need and sell off surplus. Also, a good fitter can easily reduce to depth of a basic store cabinet but not necessarily height or width. Occasionally, gaps at the end of a run can be hidden with a blanking or finishing panel fitted flush and cut to an irregular width, if this gap is over say 150mm it could be hinged and fitted with a hidden push-push opener to form another albeit narrow cupboard.

Incredibly helpful as it confirms my wish to re-use parts of my old kitchen. My extractor, hob, oven, taps and cabinet doors all have life left in them. I didn’t have a clue where to start with kitchen renovation. Many thanks.

Reuse, definitely! I kept my old oven, hob and dishwasher, which I inherited when I bought the house. They work perfectly and I prefer their respectively neat styles to anything currently available. As a couple of others have said recently, it’s wasteful to replace something unless it’s absolutely irredeemable!
