We have bought a small holiday house in Cyprus and are in the process of renovating. We plan to replace the conservatory on the same footprint, linking up the roof with the villa's roof. We love the light , the views and the easy access to the garden from all three sides, but folk passing on the road can see in . I am dithering about whether to add a low wall across the front with sliding windows above and just keep side accesses with windows to the ground. Or, whether to keep all glass but just add some pillars and make the individual panes thinner and, therefore, more elegant. Measurements are 24ft wide by 12 ft deep. Thanks for thoughts.

I am sure glass is cold in winter. double-glaze. hmmm. all my windows are cold to touch in winter. I am in NZ. we have a lot of wind which makes the air cold. we do have a lot of sun though but winter is winter anywhere.
