Claire, sorry to hear you've sold your house after the hours and hours of work spend on it. And to give it up! That would be hard for me. Have read your many posts with interest and seen your room transformations. A 'ready to move in' sale I imagine. You must have tremendous energy to even think about starting over!

My eldest son is doing a massive reno, virtually single handed, on his Edwardian place and after 4 years still has a way to go. It's been hours every weekend and every night after he gets home from work BUT he says he'd do it all again cos this first place was a learning curve... esp dealing with tradespeople. There are many things he'd improve on... next time he tells me. I do believe however, that he's run out of expletives!

Interesting that in Moscow, they wanted to hide the fridge from the living area, when in NZ it seems people want to put the kitchen sink and all, in full view.

In Nip and Tuck featured kitchen I am interested in how tap ware fitting allows for cover to close neatly. Any ideas?
