exterior - ranch to craftsman
Note the use of copper rain waterfalls (or whatever they are called) to replace the usual downspouts. I've been wanting to do this. We do want the water to eventually run to some type of storage device. How can we accomplish this subtly? At the minimum, we want to get the downspout water to not run across the cement front porch any more. This is an extra mini-project we should accomplish that we hadn't originally included in the project!
Arbor that extends over garage; could do this over guest bedroom and study windows. Note the detailing of the support structure for the arbor. This is like the structure we had built for the garage in Menlo Park. Would want just the right level of detailing. Also, would want to decide if it should be painted or stained.
Exterior Craftsman color - dark dusky green with maroonish trim (not as fond of trim color)
