Again this pergola matches what I have and allows for lighting and probably could hold a fan although I am wondering if the fan is necessary. If the slats are close enough together it offers shade and the plant can grow on it. Eve: the larger lumber on the roof give this one a heavier look. I like the curved knee braces of the other image that you save although these straight knee braces would be less expensive
Again, the slats are very close to their and may offer enough filtered lighting. The one at Sierra Nevada in the back is raised in the middle and then flattens out on both sides. Might consider that kind of pergola. Eve: This is very pretty but would be expensive. Changing roof levels will drive up the cost. Also, I recommend against painted wood outside, especially with so many small pieces; it is a maintenance nightmare.
