Savvy - Trash
Manchester PB - You can return within 30 days - They would not refund you the shipping costs but you would not have to pay extra to ship back. Cannot be delivered to a store and not available locally https://www.potterybarn.com/products/manchester-upholstered-swivel-desk-chair/. SB: Ok, I'm ready to try this one. It's the only one that has really clicked so far.
CR: seat is too low, vegan leather is just vinyl, but despite the chrome legs, this could work as a color and style - PS: finding the right height, in a material that will be stain resistant in a light material, and in the cozy style you like may end up feeling like the quest for the holy grail! ,SB - yes, I like the look of this one I'd have to try it out for feel and comfort. I have no problem ordering a few chairs from Amazon and trying them out, like the https://www.amazon.com/Rivet-Mid-Century-Bonded-Leather-Upholstered/dp/B082KVVQH1/ref=sr_1_141
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonCommercial-Ergonomic-High-Back-Leather-Executive/dp/B07S57CCXF/ref=pd_di_sccai_4 - SB: This looks very good, as long as the back is not either too high, or tilted forward in a way that presses against my back. I am paying attention to how I sit and have noticed that I tend to keep my lower back pressed into the lower part of the back of the chair but my upper back does not touch it
I like this better than the Molloy Console for a space like my office: Even with the metal legs etc, it feels more feminine. I like the light wood, too, which is more in the spirit of my office I think.
Yes, I like the style. I would rather have just artwork and no mirrors, but if we do include some mirrors, I prefer this look to all the arched ones.
I'm not loving any of these lamps. It's hard for me to like a lamp! I also don't know where the lamp would sit or what it's purpose would be so I can't visualize them in the office at all. BUT - I prefer the antique copper finish on this one to the metallic or brass look of some of the others.
Not bad: it has wheels, arm rests and looks comfortable. But would the chrome fit in with everything else? I don't think we're headed in a chrome direction. CR: the chrome is not the best
https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/state-line-velvet-executive-chair-lfmf3426.html ($244). This is appealing for the same reasons overall as the GDF Studio chair, and I like the wood fixtures as opposed to metal. But the back might be to high and how will the cream-colored upholstery wear over time? CR: latest reviews are bad - Wonder if quality has gone down
Is my ceiling high enough for a fixture like this? Overall it's "okay." I'm not sure how I feel about the beaded look but could get used to it. Not loving the black metal. And what sort of light does this produce? It seems like there's nothing to diffuse/ filter it.
Overall same comments about the Farmhouse light but the style feels a little closer to my taste.
A decent alternative to the fussy-ish beaded look but it would all really depend on the rest of the office. I also think maybe this would produce a better quality of lighting since the exterior filters and diffuses it a little. But I defer to you on that!
Same comments as the Farmhouse version.
Similar comments to the Allison version but I suspect my ceiling is too low for something like this.
Cheapest one is on Houzz at $59. 17" wide
https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/birch-lane-akron-task-chair-w003189666.html SB: A possibility. Drawbacks are lack of padding in the front of the armrest and I’d have to try it to see about the back support. CR: Looks like color of fabric is more of a tan than a beige – which can work and contribute to the warm factor. Shipping back is around $100.
Very elegant; SB: oh la la! Very chic. I do like it, but: too chic for my little office? Especially since we have lots of chrome fixtures going on. I also found this one that's a little simpler (couldn't find it in Houzz): https://www.ballarddesigns.com/gracie-mirror/mirrors-art/mirrors/floor-mirrors/560098?listIndex=2&uniqueId=560098. CR: I like the Gracie but it is too short. Ideal size is 36" wide max and at least 72" tall. The Aldina from Horchow is a bit too wide and quite expensive. But the style would not look at of place in your room
Like this mirror because it looks like an archway open to another room; yes, nice and simple.
Nope.
Nope.
Blush for a touch of femininity. Nope - No blush for me.
Can be ordered in many sizes - https://www.perigold.com/Visual-Comfort--Shaw-Flush-by-Studio-VC-S-4041-L6086-K~VSCF2070.html I'm usually not one to go for fancy little details like lace and faux pearls, but this is kind of catching my eye! Why not? Let's call this tied for 1st choice. CR: me neither and like you this one caught my eye. Maybe it was "French lace" that did it for us.
A good option - 2nd choice for the bulletin board.
https://www.wayfair.com/decor-pillows/pdp/ophelia-co-wall-mounted-bulletin-board-opco5479.html?piid=&experiencetype=2&selectedvertical=2 I'd say this is probably a tie for 1st choice, as long as you think it won't get too busy once there are actually things pinned to it. The problem is that it is minuscule. The one on the 3D rendering was 30x40. This one is just too small, which is why I looked for other larger options. Smallest size you would need would be 24Hx36W

Ditto
CR: do the nails work for you? https://www.amazon.com/Serta-Leighton-Office-Chair-Ivory/dp/B074KVZPC2/ref=sr_1_10
Comfort and features seem to fit: https://www.amazon.com/Serta-Ashland-Office-Chair-Ivory/dp/B074MMZKTF/ref=sr_1_5
This is a darker version of the first one? Overall same comments. I prefer the idea of a light-colored upholstery but would it get dirty and worn-looking pretty quickly?
Nope. The black leather, the chrome and the high back don't seem like a fit for the space. Plus it's very expensive for a chair given my track record of needing to change chairs every few years due to comfort and back issues.
This looks too much like something you'd see in an office building.
Inexpensive brick veneer if brick is desired on one accent wall: Brick veneer to place on one wall to make the space cozy. https://www.lowes.com/pd/General-Shale-Providence-Series-50-Pack-Carbon-1-2-in-x-8-in-Tumbled-Ceramic-Brick-Look-Wall-Tile/1000773826 -- No faux please!
Ditto re faux.
CR: the rug brings warmth and coziness while being office chair wheel friendly. SB - I do not at all like the animal skin rug look.
CR: Depending on the room layout and wall space, another shelf to consider to create a perfect view point on your videocalls; SB - Nah, it reminds me too much of the furniture in Jacques' home office. Plus, something this size might be too much given the existing book cases.
https://www.antiquefarmhouse.com/afh-exclusive-dark-classic-mantel.html. No faux fireplaces or anything else please!

Faux Fireplace to recreate a little "Parisian" cozy corner - https://www.etsy.com/listing/947429286/faux-fireplace-and-mantle-unassembled -- SB: No faux, please! See my comment above about the faux plants.
No thank you! Let's please stay away from artificial anything, and from faux. I'd rather be bare and minimalistic than have artificial / faux accessories.
Ditto re artificial plants
It's hard for me to comment on any of the consoles without knowing how they fit in with the overall scheme, but in the abstract, this one feels too fussy for me with its patterned wood. I think I lack imagination though!
Jacques has some similar furniture in his home office downstairs, so combined with the black metal legs, it feels too masculine to me.
Not bad. Nice patchwork wood on the top. I like the Gabby Lois Console more.
No, this big arched mirror look just doesn't feel like me.
Same comment re arched mirrors, though I like the distressed wood frame.
Ditte re arched mirrors
Ditto re arched mirrors but I like the gray wash
Ditto re lamps.
Ditto re lamps, and this look overall is too stark and contemporary.
Ditto
CR: Space does not apply, but color scheme is soothing; SB: maybe, but there's a bit too much going on in here for me to really sense the color scheme.
CR: black and white with natural elements - Maybe too architectural for your needs; SB: yes, too architectural but I like the coziness of the full book case and the exposed brick wall.
CR: if you like dark colors!; SB: I don't like dark colors but I do like the wall art in the back, and the arrangement of multiple pieces of art on the side wall. That feels cozy and multifaceted to me.
