conway curtains
We can talk about this if you are interested. But if you curtained very high up to surround that top window, you would get lots of height and drama. You'd have to have a shorter set on either side because of the ceiling line - but it could work. If you did that, I would go very subtle on fabric. I'd just let that dramatic height carry the show.
Note these curtains are on a track that is hidden by that track board up high. These are the type found in many hotel rooms. Where you hang onto the rod and walk to open and close the curtains - and they glide on the track. They usually have pleats as well. Very reliable way to keep your curtains organized.
Note these are on rids mounted high. They have the look of wooden rings on wooden rods - but they might actually be metal. They have pleats, which help the curtains stay organized when open or closed. A cleaner, but more formal look. It looks like they mounted their blinds high as well. Something you won't be doing.
ahhhhhh.... so tidy! I do like those natural fiber blinds. And it looks like they got paired with some rough silk panels. It's all doubt texture. Very nice solution for a bedroom. But I don't know that either of those curtain panels are operational.
