New utility ideas
Great compact household cupboard organisation. I still haven't quite worked out how to manage laundry baskets in utility room - all of us have one in the bedroom, they then transfer into utility for washing eg lights/darks together. There's still a nightmare bottleneck with the clean dry laundry after that but any shared baskets in laundry area is just perpetually full/toppling. Bathroom/shared laundry baskets just NEVER work for me most of the time, as things just get lost too easily and that creates more stress. As teens, they're all now ROUGHLY the same size and wear similar clothing and frankly I cannot be ARSED labelling everything anymore (I've done 20 years of being the Mum Who Finds Everything)
Beautifully organised/presented. Where is the folding surface though? We do a lot of folding eg from tumble dryer - rather than ironing - so folding/stacking space is needed MORE than ironing space, which *could* be done in the kitchen on the rare occasions it happens, if an ironing board was neatly available or in a fold out drawer...
SOOOOO clean and tidy. No piles of muddy football socks on floor or piles of sweaty bedsheets. We've *JUST* got younger boys into routine of at least bringing their laundry down here but they just dump it and they're old enough to learn to do it themselves now. But it needs to be IDIOT PROOF, all 'to hand' (so they know where powder is, where to fold and stack clothes to be rehomed back upstairs etc!)
All of the things I like are terribly well organised (I'm not! but would like to be) One of the key things is TRYING to find a bit of sensible space for DRYING clothes in the utility room. Hence the idea of racks/dehumidifier (we've lived with damp/mould for too long in current house so NOT having damp gathering anywhere is important...) Sporty mucky boys produce lots of washing so we're constantly using drier or hanging inside because raining. Would like to dry efficiently without tumble dryer where poss, though will keep it!
Think this is the same as the other one that is my fav?
