I am definitely doing floral wallpaper in both the laundry room and powder room. And, I really like the idea of coloured knobs in both rooms too. I also want white cupboards.
I like having a white handrail and spindles, so the basement looks light and airy. Maybe "piano" steps, with the treads matching the floor and the risers white?
Office - nothing specific, just a look/feel
If we do an open shelf in the laundry room, have brackets that have style and are not utilitarian.
Have a floral rug (with oversized flowers like this) in office.
Another floral rug idea for the office.
This is where I got the idea of old fashioned porch doors to replace my sliding glass doors. But, ensure they have low E glass in them so they don't let all the cold in!
I want 2 doors like this to replace my sliding glass doors. I would want to research what the heat retention (with low E windows) is vs my current doors.
An example of double doors to replace my sliding glass doors.
I want my basement doors to be complementary with my doors upstairs.
The crystal knobs I have upstairs.
For my interior doors in the basement, I'd like all of them to be the same style. Some would obviously be a full door (furnace room, storage room, powder room). For the laundry room, I'd like a 1/2 glass door with "Laundry" written on it. For the office, I'd like either a single 1/2 glass door with "Office" written on it, or double doors with the same idea.
