Tidy in-ground composting: 1 - choose a row in garden to be composting row (centre of garden for first year?) 2 - dig a garbage-can size hole smaller than this wooden compost door cover 3 - remove bottom of trash can and sink into hole 4 - place cover over can, mounted on soil 5 - add household compost into can. When full, pull can out of ground, top off with cardboard, soil, etc. 6 - move hole further down composting row, dig 2nd hole and sink can into ground (for added warmth protection). Move compost cover door to new location and continue composting.
