if we skipped roof and did patio only and out building. Only problem is that structures are supposed to be connected to the house based upon HOA directives.

privacy screening from neighbors
hot tub surround ideas
like this look
typical pitch but this is massive. Maybe something in scale with our place.
is that glass above the door?
love the angles of these (I don't know what they are called) but I like how they jut out and taper back into the house.
interesting...
I like the different angles and pitches but not sure if any of it would work in our scenario
typical pitch roof...but they don't have the side walls we have to contend with on this one.
Hip roof option?
flat roof with seating integrated between pillars.
flat roof
I like this type of tub filler faucet v the one that is free standing.
I want a drawer like this to hold hair care stuff...inside vanity.
This is a cool look if we go for a high pitched roof. Like the contrast in materials.
master bath - tile backsplash to tub with build up for plumbing and shelf for utility purposes.
I do like a flat roof and texture
I DO like a bit of a surprise color wise!
like the different levels and materials used in this photo. I like the pool edges being a bit higher so it can be used as seating or surround a fire pit/feature that then appears to be "dug out"

I like this look - probably because it has the cedar and colors we've incorporated into the paint/stain.
I like this look as well. I really like the slanted pitch of the secondary posts, and once again, there's a skylight for additional light.
I like this look with the skylight making more light available.
we thought about coming off the lower level for the screen porch with a deck above serving the master bedroom...
I really like the cement privacy squares and the pitch of this roof line.
another way to open the area
