DeWolf Captains Island
I like the towel cubbies on the side. We need something for towels by the pool, but also in/by the mud room (the girls have weekly swim class at school and swim practice every day in May and June so they are constantly needing to grab a towel on their way out). Right now I keep the towels rolled up like this, but all shoved in the top shelves of the coat closet - would love cubbies instead!
I love the feel of this master.
Another pic of the same house...
Another pic of the house we really like - I like the dark shingle (although probably not this bright of a blue) with lots of white trim and glass. And the overall feel this house gives off. We also really like the idea of a natural wood fence in the front, with maybe brick columns instead of stone.
We love this house! We're thinking we may want to do a darker blue shingle like this house with white trim. Maybe also white board and batten. I like the natural wood door, too.
We like the Loom's master bathroom - not necessarily the layout, but we like the materials and overall feel.
We liked this hood with the white tile in the background. Also liked the light fixtures. We've also been talking about doing white marble on the island (not relevant to this picture, but wanted to remember to tell you that).
We liked the design on the chimney on this house.
We like the cable on the staircase and the shiplap. I also really like how the chandelier and picture soften everything up. I like the lanterns sitting at the bottom of the stairs, too.
This is the house where we really liked the blueish gray color of the shingle siding. We also liked the metal front door and the window (or maybe it’s a door) on the left side. The shutters here are more blue than we want - we’d rather have the darker blue color on the other house I added.
We liked the blueish gray color on the siding with the very dark blue shutter color.
This is the Palmetto Bluff house where we liked the metal doors in the back.
We weren’t so much looking at style here - but liked the idea of some bar seating out on the screened porch with a window open to the kitchen. Then maybe we could add some counter space on the kitchen in front of the window.
So the lighting of the pic isn’t great because we took it ourselves - but in person we loved this space. We liked the dark doors with the brick fireplace and the light wood.
I pulled this from the Structures website. I love this hallway - both the effect of the line of light fixtures and the shiplap.
I like the tile on this floor - maybe for somewhere like the laundry room.
We loved the Looms' kitchen island and want ours to look very similar. I love the chairs and natural wood top to the bar/table. We also love the Looms' floors and the white/light feel to the kitchen, but I think we'd use a little les white (like maybe a darker door and a countertop that wasn't as white as that one looks).
This picture from the IOP shingle style house was our initial inspiration for wanting the pool off the living room.
I love the feel of this picture. I like the colors and different textures. I like the different styles mixed together here. I like the ceiling, the tile in the bar, and the railing on the right hand side.
Another example where I like different styles mixed together. I love the black on the glass wall - I feel like it looks modern but substantial and interesting at the same time. I like that there is rustic wood, but not enough to make the room feel too rustic. I like the overall laid back elegant feel to this room.
We'd love to have hanging lights somewhere outside.
Our bed gives a similar feel to this one. I like the wall behind it.
We like the weathered wood beams, the floors, the dark door and the white cabinets. Not crazy about this island though.
I like the gray and white colors here with this floor. I also love the metal door. We have a zinc dining table that reminds me of this feel. We don't want a door like this, but just like the metal element added in.
I like the feel of this for the area under the den. We won't have the pool there, but would love to find a way to give it a similar feel.
