We worked with the Vita Design Group on a ground-up, high-end residential project in Westport Ct. Our firm usually designs everything in a project, from the layout all the way to fluffing the last pillow, and we have occasionally butted heads with various architects over the years who sometimes insist on dominating the project. However, within minutes of meeting Lucien and his team, we knew this would be a very different experience. Lucien is as knowledgeable and talented as he is agreeable and pleasant to work with. He and his team were able to easily dovetail with our way of doing things, and the ultimate results were much better than we would have ever achieved on our own. The architectural elements of the project were a true collaboration, in the best sense of the word, with both teams exchanging ideas and pushing each other to ever greater effects. Lucien’s attention to detail, great attitude and fine aesthetic sensibility make him, hands down, the best architect we have ever worked with. We truly look forward to future projects with the Vita Design Group.

I worked with Lucien Vita who is the founder of Vita Design. Lucien designed my new home. He is the nicest person anyone can work with so easy, sincere and caring. He has become a friend. It was a collaboration between him and I. He is incredibly talented and passionate about his work. One might say, he pushes the envelop to know about the latest technology. My new home is extremely well built, unusual and beautiful. A very common reaction when someone walks into my house the first time is "Awesome!". He has an excellent design sense. Most architects can design any style house including modern but I was looking for an architect whose strength is pure modern and Lucien did it. He could build any style beautifully but his passion is modern. If you want a modern house, he is the one to design it. Lucien stayed with the project from start to finish.
Building a house from the ground up can be very stressful. I had my moments but for the most part it was a fun experience. It was a process that took about two years . We saw a lot of each other in the office, in the field and on the road checking things out and we're still friends. If I built another house Lucien Vita would be my architect. I like him as an Architect and as a person.
He also has a very dedicated office and technical staff who were always responsive to my needs They are all involved in the latest technology. It's a very friendly comfortable office.

The Vita design team have been a great partner to us since the day we engaged with them. It has been an excellent working relationship through the property search, the design of the house and navigation of all the many challenges we have faced in getting to the point of moving into our beautiful new home.
Our wish for a modern energy efficient house built to a defined budget and aesthetic, was fully realized both Lucien and Gary were fully onboard with our wishes. They listened to what we believed to be important and incorporated those wishes into the design externally and internally giving us a unique property with our European / modern open plan aesthetic fully realized.

Lucien and Gary did an amazing job planning and designing our dream home. From day one we realized they understood perfectly well what we wanted to achieve. A couple of weeks later, they showed us their first version of the project and their "idea" of what it would look like and we fell in love with it right there. Our appreciation for their work only increased throughout the project and execution phases. Their architectural knowledge and experience was super important in making a "modern" house not stand out too much in an area with mostly traditional houses.

We hired Lucien Vita for multiple phases of our home renovation which included all rooms (living room, kitchen, family room, deck, bedrooms, basement and bathrooms). He was sensitive to our needs and design aesthetics, provided an array of alternatives and was respectful to the budget. Lucien managed the construction process and provided valuable input to issues that arouse. He was also a valuable resource in suggesting vendors, supplier and professionals. It was a pleasurable experience and we would definitely work with Lucien again.
