I need help with paint colour for my living room and kitchen walls
Comments (15)We just painted a color called "Latte" over the dark red walls in our place and we keep thinking that someone left the light on! It adds that much light to the place as the red was just sucking out any light in the place. Find a color you like more for that wall and repaint...and/or maybe add a ceramic tile backsplash? It will make it feel brighter in there immediately as you will get a lot of light reflection. I love the idea of sage green with your cabinets....See MoreKitchen splashback - how many lines of tile
Comments (19)The tile is very pretty. I don't know if it is just the colours showing up differently on screen but the light grey appears to be a different tone (more purple to me) than your tile. If you want a light grey I would take the tile to the store and try for a better match. The dark color ties in nicely to the tile and could be very dramatic and stunning if the room gets a lot of light....See MoreHow to improve my guest bedroom?
Comments (6)Hi, it's a lovely room and you only need to make a few minor tweaks. The two accent pillows in brown in front of the bed pillows need to be removed. They are too large and shapeless. Remove the brown throw. Your bed linen is lovely next to the grey wallpaper. If you'd like accent cushions, I would go smaller, tailored and something with an a print in grey and white or a colour that pops. The grey objects on the side tables are lights? I would replace these with a silver base and white shade. Remove the objects from the window. You could add a mirror either over each side light or a rectangular version over the bed. Here's my room with a similar colour scheme. Have fun with your decorating!...See Morehow to layout furniture in living room with windows on two walls
