New bedroom! Need help deciding what furniture to put in!
Comments (16)Sure sarah -- the bed is Target, believe it or not, as is the chandelier. You might even find a better deal on the lighting. Here's the rug at rugs direct: http://www.rugs-direct.com/ShopDetail/Details/160707/Surya/CandiceOlsonModernClassics/CAN1982/WinterWhiteTanFlintGray Here's the bedding: http://www.bellahomefashions.com/hotel-style-borderline-white-tan-7pc-duvet-comforter-cover-and-sheet-set-p3298.html I threw the mirror in as a splurge at $2K from Coastal Cottage, but if you keep your eyes open, you'll find something at Home Goods. And these are the curtains: http://www.halfpricedrapes.com/pearl-white-thai-silk-curtains-drapes.html...See MoreWhat shall I put on this wall?
Comments (4)You could do a bench with a top that opened for storage. This way family & guests have a place to sit and take off their shoes or boots when entering. You could also put hooks on the wall above the bench for a place to hang coats or keys. A second option could be a sideboard or dresser. This would also provide storage and you could put decorative accessories on the top of it and hang a nice picture on the wall....See MoreWhat to put on this wall?
Comments (7)What a lovely, clean space. A beautiful oversized painting would add so much to it--something to look at while you're cooking or dining. An abstract landscape that ties into your outdoors is one possibility or a painting with a food related theme. Large vintage posters can look great in a kitchen. Then add a piece of pottery on your counter in one of the colors from the painting....See MoreShould I put mirror over fireplace or over tv. mirror can only be 95 c
Comments (11)There are a thousand ways to use mirrors beautifully in a living room -- just not any old mirror in any old place, that I would agree with I think you should have art over the fireplace, and I see potential for using a scattering of small mirrors to bring light into the alcove and counterbalance the somewhat awkward angle of the TV. I'm assuming there's nowhere else to put the TV? I agree that the furniture in that corner is rather too flimsy to handle either the size of the TV or the bold black boxes of the fireplace and hearth. How about a striking floor vase? (Just resist the temptation to stick stuff in it.) https://www.etsy.com/listing/158899961/poster-geometric-print-a3-abstract-wall http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Natural-Bamboo-Floral-included/dp/B006O127GY...See MoreJudyG Designs
