Just wondering what you think about going with colourful cushions, reds, green, purple etc. a warm rug and warm looking throws. I thought the colour may brighten it up and make it look homely. Or should I stay neutral. Also what would you do with these curtains. Remove? Or buy longer ones for over them if possible?
You have a great space to work with. If you decide that you would like a colorful area rug then that could be your jumping off point to bring other colors into your rooms. You have alot of wall spcace for beautiful artowork, mirrors etc. I would decide on the area rug first and once you do that colors for your drapes and pillows and throws and accent pieces will come from the colors in the rug. If you decide against a rug then choose a piece of art and the colors for everything can come from that as well. A far as your drapes over the rad I would shorten them to above the rad, or a roman blind would be nice.
Whenever I post this picture, people tell me the curtains should be longer....they've never had rads. To heat the room, you really want unencumbered air flow.
