So this is the plan of our new kitchen in our new build. This is going to be a kitchen/dining /living room. One set of double doors have been changed into a window. There is a fireplace at one ned of the room. Please help me design the layout of kitchen, kitchen table, island, and armchairs/sofa?
Where is your refrigerator? If you move your stove over is there room for a refrigerator and a stove? You will need at the very least 12" on each side of your stove. Your sink can either go by the window or on the island.
Another option is to put the stove on the outside wall and move the window over. If you do this you can put the sink on the island. The refrigerator can go on the back wall and you might have room for a 24" wide pantry at the end next to the door and the refrigerator can go next to the pantry.
Nothiing has been put in place yet, still at block work level but the windows are in place. The pics on plan are just rough outlines anything can be moved around. Not a big fan of sink on the island as afraid it would get messy/ cluttered looking. Refrigerator can go anywhere.
Can you tell me how long each counter is? I could probably figure it out, but it would be easier if you would give the length of each counter. Thank you.
Yes the stove can go next to the fridge as long as you have enough space to place a pot between the two.........I do it all the time. In fact I have this in my own house and it works just fine. I have about 54 cm between the stove and the refrigerator.........You could even get away with less, perhaps 38 cm plus or minus.......
