We get asked this constantly and opinion is genuinely split. A walk-in panel gives a more open feel and there is far less hardware to fail, but you need to get the fall and the drainage right or you will be mopping the floor. A sliding door enclosure contains the water properly and suits a family bathroom, but it eats into the space visually. For those of you who have lived with either in a 1700mm run — what would you do differently second time around?
