What else is going in the room? If it’s only a dining table you have space to spread the kitchen out further

Was looking to put a snug area in towards the bi folds and dining area top right. As the living room will be at the front of the house

It is open plan l shape not decided on the dining area space though and snug area

In my opinion there is insufficient space for everything and you must have enough circulation space to get around the island. This means the island will be relatively small, certainly stools on the back will be too close to the dining table

If you want a big island then you need to compromise the extra sofa placement

Getting rid of any cabinetry that divides the room in half will make it easier to spread out

In my opinion not the strongest plan but I think this might well be where you land

I was thinking just this but may end up just losing the stools and have it as just an peninsula of the kitchen or even what Sarah has produced which I may end up having a bench type dining against the wall instead of a table

This is the full plan for information. We looking to have french doors to the lounge area to seperate against the open plan

how about a 2 seater island or would this not go 900mm cleareance between units...

900mm is the minimum clearance, which I have used here

Thank you everyone I think I am set with the 2 seater island with the dining table opposite the kitchen, have another living space opposite an already living space at the top of the house which probably not ideal but have to sacrifice somewhere
