We have been renovating our house for what seems like forever...the third bedroom upstairs was changed into a family bathroom as the original bathroom was next to the kitchen which really interrupted the flow of the house. It has made the kitchen space bigger but since we still have not put a kitchen in, there is an opportunity to improve the layout and potentially add the 3rd bedroom back in.
The current kitchen space could become the 3rd bedroom and relocating the kitchen to the open plan dining area would provide a nice big open plan space that has lots of light from the south facing garden.
I am aware there are additional costs for moving plumbing, electrics etc for the kitchen relocation but if it means a better utilisation of space, it would be worth it.
I would love to hear any suggestions or people that have gone through similar renovations and found a solution that worked?
