Hello, i need help with my living room layout.

its a complicated one because it has four entry ways/exits. We are a family of 5 and it just feels overcrowded and never cosy.

we have a log burner in the corner that cannot be moved but the rest can, i am also on the look out for new furniture and sofa/sofas. the stairs is also in the room! would love some ideas because its driving me mad. the stairs is on the left and and theres also a corner gap to get under the stairs. the bottom photo has the english translation. if anyone can solve this i owe you dinner 😆

Thank you Sarah L. this is the way we have the sofa atm except its a chaise long and it just seems huge in the middle of the room plus in winter when the fire is on theres no way to sit there with the heat, so am trying to see if any other layouts would work?

Hi, We recently moved into a new home and we're redecorating two adjoining rooms. It's myself and my wife at the moment, and in around 6 weeks there'll be a little one joining us :) Here's an album of the two rooms with a floor plan https://photos.app.goo.gl/w4d77HhJhGxuUdGt9 I've arranged to get the floors refinished over the next few weeks (once our 'lock-down' is over!). The room without the TV will be a dining room/office combo, it's south-facing. Generally, they are quite bright when all doors and blinds are open, but the windows are not huge so there aren't awash with light all the time. We're having real trouble deciding on a colour scheme. Could anybody offer any inspiration? For the furniture, the main thing we plan on keeping is the sofa, the rest is likely to be changed. Thanks!
