Just a quick note to thank you all for sharing your thought, ideas, experience and time. I especially want to thank Bluenan and decoenthusiaste for being with me through the all process for the last 6 months or so..., just wanted to post few photos of the results (https://www.houzz.com/discussions/any-ideas-for-final-touches-to-this-living-dinning-room-dsvw-vd~569586) as I feel it is not only me who created this space but it is your creations as much as mine. It may not be perfect or according to the the "Rules", but it is Me and my family. Each and every piece was chosen by me in different parts of the world and each one of them has a unique story behind. I am very pleased with my space. I love it! I am very blessed. .... and so I am off to my new project now... Back to school.... that's really going to be hard ;) Thank you all, once again.

Shelves above the stove , just one more thing to clean, whatever you put there gets filthy. Love the blue color, the nice thing is in this space you could use any color. I love glass subway tiles they are timeless and come in some wonderful colors.That penquin paper is fun , how about in the bathroom or a childs room.

We have currently gutted the bathroom in our new house. Dimensions are 2700mm x 3900mm. The shower is in a fixed position but I would like advice on where to locate the bath. We would like a freestanding bath but I am concerned with having enough space to clean around and behind it. So attached are my 2 current ideas. 1. to have the bath parallel to the window but leave at least 450mm space between the bath and the wall, 2 to place the bath at an angle across the corner with storage shelves behind. Any suggestions or opinions?

Hi. I think the overall look is good. Large tiles do make a room feel bigger as the pattern is less busy however I've seen the hex tiles in small bathrooms and they seem to work as your inspiration pic shows. I would probably lose the flowers though if I'm honest. Do you want the window for light or ventilation? Could a decent extractor be sufficient? I'm thinking that back ŵall could look quite busy. Is there any opportunity to change the layout? Moving soil pipes can be a little costly but could the sink be moved although ideally the loo would be hidden round the corner. You can pick up some great looking vintage or vintage style taps on ebay although unsure if the quality of the repro ones, If the layout can't be changed maybe have a corner loo and ŵall hung trough sink and put some storage in on the rhs as you come through the door depending on how you plan for the shower to open
