Repurposing middle bedroom to en-suite/wardrobe

hello. we are soon to be turning the middle bedroom of our Victorian semi into an ensuite and walk-in watdrobe for the main bedroom. Im now having a wobble as to whether the layout i had planned is going to be too cramped - i really aould like to fit a good amount of wardrobe space (no doors) plus the usual double vanity, shower and freestanding bath.

i would be interested to hear feedback or alternative suggestions on how it could be improved.

if anyone has done a similar project I would love to see it too.

I'd try and get a bit more space for the wardrobe, I usually work on a minimum stand space of 80-90 cm in front of a wardobe door. I like the walk through the wardrobe, it gives a second threshold of privacy to the bedroom, so maybe consider also an extra door (maybe) or a change in direction (takes up more space though). consider a walk 'through' wardrobe, with one wardrobe on each side for each of the two users and this might then give a better bathroom layout. Agree with Sarah L a nice bath under a window is always a winner! reduce size of shower, consider one basin, prioritise what is important, ie is te bath the centrepiece? if so work eveything else around that.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have considered moving the partition wall and have asked our architect to draw sketches of the same but he's not keen on the idea! Great suggestions so far - any further ideas much appreciated!

Can you change the entrance in the small ensuite to service the back bedroom; then convert the small bedroom into an ensuite for the master bedroom? If you move the wall on that room right out to the door of the master bed you'll gain, in guessing, 300mm. Ensuite at 2m*2m would be large enough, you'd then have the space for a narrow walk in wardrobe 2m*1.2m, giving a walking space 7/800mm wide, just big enough. To get natural light in the you could put glass in part of the partition walls up high, both at landing side and ensuite side. Alternatively, make small room into a jack and Jill, big saving on cleaning and make old ensuite into wardrobe.
