Thanks for the feedback, we had something similar in mind. Would you suggest bringing the door out to the front? What about the windows either side, we would think about replacing maybe in a different colour, possibly grey, and add some cedar cladding to the house front and paint walls grey. We are also toying with the idea of bring double doors out to the front with arclight over head and then to add coving around the windows with arc that mirrors the arc light to try and soften the whole angular look to to the front. Hi Becky I'm not sure what style you are looking for but try www.solidor.co.uk These are the best low maintenance front doors you can get with lots of options on colours, inside and out. We are one of their installers in Colchester and have four on display, if we are near enough pop in, if not just find a local installer. if you are after timber we supply Bereco, again go to their website, not cheap but beautiful. We also can supply Grey windows, not in 50 shades, but in 3, so you can have from light to dark. Anything else just ask. Regards Joe

Myhusband and I are renovating our 1830 Rectory. The outside colour render has been completed. (Porch block work needs to be colour rendered will be same as house) We are looking for paint suggestions for the front door & porch our windows are traditional wooden sliding sash painted white (the door has blue plastic wrap on it at the moment woodwork has been primed in the grey) Thank you

trying to decide does a tan solid wood colour door work with black windows and a black frame&glass around the door. will have some stone under the porch window with black grey& bits of brown. having difficulty finding pictures to match this idea
