What colour should I paint this hall and landing. It’s really dark as only gets light from the tiny window and from the kitchen to the side. The landing is much brighter and gets a lot more light. It was a horrible cold grey before so I painted it skimming stone dupe but I don’t like how dull it looks. It’s not finished by any stretch as I’m going to replace the flooring and I have a lovely oak coat hook ready to go up and I want to get a slim console table opposite the stairs. Should I go for an off white? I started painting upstairs bright white to cover up the grey for now and that’s very stark obviously so won’t be keeping that!
