I'm starting to really like the Blue+orange combo.Not one i would instantly have thought of, but I've seen a few pics online after reading your suggestion and i find it really cheerful and soothing at the same time. Thanks for the advice!

Slipper Satin, Stoney Ground or shaded white are the recommended complimentary colours but if you really want a grey you could try strong white. I've got French Gray Units which isn't a million miles away from Mizzle and I've used Dulux Egyptian Cotton on the walls, it's definitely grey (although doesn't look it on colour chart) but got a beige undertone so would work with your flooring.

If you painted the wood skirtings (removed in photos) and door frames, in the dusky blue from the tiles then did the walls in white to bounce light around the hallway as they can be a bit dark I don't think it would look clinical because the use of the blue would add a little drama and look very up to date. Alternatively you could use a deep grey. I haven't seen this done much but when I have it has looked well.

Trying to figure out a good match for the wall paint color. My computer is viewing it as a warm neutral sage. It has a light and airy feel. If not, can anyone recommend something similiar to described. My carpet is similar beige color and my wood furnishing match the bed posts.
