I had a look at your plan and I think the sizing can work, but you need to improve the layout the both bathrooms. Right now it looks like things have been just thrown in there randomly.

Create a simple layout that's easy to navigate and the modest size of the bathroom should not be a problem.

Does the separate bathroom serve other bedrooms downstairs or just that bedroom upstairs? The lack of symmetry of the floorplan is slightly annoying me - I'd want the ensuite moved down slightly (making that bedroom a bit smaller) so that the doors into ensuite and dressing room are facing each other and so that the wall separating the bathrooms is in line with the wall up the side of the stairs. Moving the whole ensuite down a little (into the bedroom space) would also then make the bathroom a bit bigger which would be nice, especially if it is serving 2+ bedrooms and is the main family bathroom.

Totally agree with what you say. However we would loose the symmetry with the balcony in the bedroom. My thought was, to totally take out the ensuite and centralise the bathroom and make it bigger. Also move the ensuite into the walk in wardrobe. Making it around 2m x 1.8 m. As you can see the head height does drop that side. Really don’t want to get this wrong

It'd be easier to have both bathrooms next to each other for plumbing requirements and it'd be a shame to lose storage space from the walk-in. Maybe the ensuite could be made slightly smaller, but keep the same footprint, so the main bathroom can be a little more spacious. Ensuite only needs to be 1.5m wide and can be laid out as Studio Mood drew earlier.

I'd add a pocket door to the Walk-ins as I couldn't sleep with a permanently open door - but that might just be me!

And I'd consider changing the opening to the Walk-in for the second bedroom so that the entrance is beside the door too, rather than having to walk all the way around the bed. I can see that would have an impact on the window to the side though, similar to the window in the ensuite bedroom. Would you want to change the windows in the second bedroom to two smaller windows, so the bed could be on the wall facing the door?? Then you don't have to walk around it to get to Walk-in. Appreciate then you wouldn't be facing the balcony doors straight on from the bed, and it might not work for the exterior of the house - but perhaps depends how often you will actually be outside looking up at that side of the house.

We can have water on both sides of the house, due to downstairs cloak room. We think we are going to move the ensuite to the end of the dressing room, outside wall. Will be 1.8m x 2.2m. Then make the bathroom around 7 square meters. It serves two bedrooms. We can move it across, making the master bigger. Just got to work out if this all fits with the new balconies.
