DIY ideas -Mould and latch

last month

Hi Guys,

Managed to buy a 2 bed property. Thanks to Jonathan again, always been an angel

Place looks tidy and I intend to rent it out for the moment. Just a few jobs may need doing, which I feel I could handle

Couple of doors had missing handles, which I replaced. Sadly the latch mechanism wouldn't fit and it's left a void. Do I have to persist in getting a latch mechanism or could cover it with a wood strip?

Quite a lot of mouldy wood partitions under the kitchen sink. I ran the taps for quite a while, couldn't see any frank leak. Nor was the wood wet. Would still need to take a couple of wood panels down. Any ideas?
The annexe

outside has quite a lot of mould on its walls. Scrubbed it today with an anti mould spray and will paint it first with peel stop and then an anti mould paint

Any other ideas?
Switched off the mains, fridge cleaned and defrosted, electrical and gas safety cert awaited. Builder mentioned something about capping of the chimney, to prevent water ingress.

Fingers crossed, hope nothing major
