What a nice space to work with - The wall bricks give the garden a lot of character and texture. If the new design tie it in with new elements, it will stand out even more! The space is overlooked and you could work with either trees for a holistic option or with pergolas etc for more localised privacy. In my view, you need bigger (or more) seating areas and more planting in the garden so that you can sit in it and enjoy nature.
