Hi looking for ideas I have a really small loft bathroom and I desperately looking for ideas to make if feel more luxurious and more of a master bedroom ensuite but don't know where to start
mall loft bathrooms can feel luxurious even spa-like with the right design choices. The key is to maximize space, add premium finishes, and use clever visual tricks.
How do you want it to feel? Spa-like? Modern? Boutique hotel?
Do you prefer warm tones (wood, creams) or cool tones (black, grey, white)?
Do you need a shower only, or can you fit a tub?
Ideas:
Marble (real or lookalike tiles) for the floor or one wall.
Brushed brass or matte black fixtures (faucet, shower, handles).
Microcement or limewash walls for that boutique finish.
If you are not thinking about a change in wall covering….maybe thinking about changing the mirror - a frame? Or cabinet style? Is there room for a shelf for matching accessories- soap dispenser, jar - in a wood? Since there is some black featuring, towels / mats could be black?
Thanks Sarah, I'm contemplating making it larger but the issue is it's a loft conversion ensuite so might need an structural engineer to confirm what we can do!

Those tiny sinks are a waste of time and money hardly big enough to wash you hands and when placed on a pedestal use up even more necessary space. Get rid of the pedestal and utilise the space to fix a bigger sink.
Loft bathrooms can be a challenge, especially when you have to handle a sloping roof. You can see some good tricks in one of our recent bathroom renovation projects: Lit storage in the eaves, a custom mirror cut to fit the space and clear shower panels keeping the room bright with a spa-like feel.
Ah that’s tight! Have you considered turning it into a wet room and having a wall hung sink and toilet thus doing away with shower tray and shower doors and making it feel more spacious? I presume the door already opens outwards?
