Timeless and Egyptian Cotton are popular choices, but I've not used them (am considering using Timeless though). Sorry, I've not used the other colours either, but I can recommend Rock Salt. It's a very light grey, almost white. Worth getting a tester 🙂

Timeless has a yellow tinge and Egyptian Cotton is a definite beige/taupe but is a lovely colour. F&B All White is a quite bright white and very popular. Slaked Lime by Little Green is lovely too.

If you are looking for a white with no tinges of another colour, go for All White - it’s a soft milky white without the harshness of pure brillant white.

We recently used Loft White by Little Greene for a client's hallway. It's a very nice soft neutral white. And yes would recommend keeping the walls and woodwork the same!

My "go to" white is Crown Sail White. I have used it several times in two different houses. It is a warm white and adds softness. I think it can take on a very pale grey tone but I have only noticed this where a painted wall meets a brilliant white ceiling. Do consider that the aspect of a room will alter the effect.

I used F & B wevet colour matched in Johnstone's Trade scrubbable everywhere. Same on woodwork in eggshell. Doors and floors all light oak. Hose is open plan with a lot of glass on a north south axis. Picks up light and shade as the sun moves but never looks yellow.

I used jasmine white in a north facing bedroom, timeless in a south facing small bedroom. Also, I recommend dulux white mist in a south facing living room

All of these are probably quite different. I would say go for the palest in the rooms with the most natural light and avoid cool whites in dingier rooms. I would go for Egyptian Cotton in a room thats a bit darker, white will just look grey and bleak. On my 8th house and I've never once used a pure white ever.
