I’ve not long bought an old Victorian maisonette, it is part of a listed building. The entrance hall is a tiny awkward diagonal shape as it opens from the communal entrance to the two flats. I plan to change the red awful carpet to a beige coir/jute like colour, paint the walls a sandy colour and use natural materials throughout. Also maybe tile the floor at entrance.,That’s as far as my vision goes. I’m not clear on how to best utilise the tiny space. Please excuse clutter from moving in i hadnt time to organise as I am just recovering from serious road accident so can’t move about much as yet. Advice & ideas greatly appreciated.
