Hi What love some ideais on adding a kitchen insulation without changing the layout as we are trying to keep cost down and on a budget. Photos attached.
Sorry no, that would mean knocking down walls and etc and will overcapitalise in the future. I like the floor plan as is.
I would prefer to change the windows into a French door have a L shape kitchen and then can fit an island with a hob. I can also have tall units and i won't need to move the sink too far.
A full kitchen reno would be in 3 years and right now need a budget refresh kitchen makeover....
I think even with the minimum clearance around an island you would end up with 1.4m worktop leaving you with little prep space if you want the hob on here…..maybe a peninsula island?
Thank you everyone. For now well paint the cabinets and change the handles, keep the work top. In 3 years time will look at a new kitchen. Thanks KatLucy, that is a good point will have to play around with the floor plan of the kitchen a bit more.
