Lovely space. Do you ever watch Garden Rescue with Charlie Dimmock and other designers? The more recent episodes are very good and give some fantastic ideas. Yesterday’s one showed screening of a huge metal shed, seating and barbecue areas as well as a water feature. They use pergolas to divide up areas and add height and there’s some fantastic planting too. You can watch them on Iplayer but don’t watch the earlier episodes as they weren’t great with very low budgets, the newer ones are much better. Currently on BBC1 at 3.45pm.

Maybe the last couple of series. They are great for ideas, although the budgets aren’t very realistic - customer pays for plants and some materials (about £4-6000) and the programme makers provides the designer and labour for free.

Just an update of stage 1. Removed the old broken decking, dipped fire pit and uneven tiles. Replaced with Indian sandstone & drainage, although was pricey. Currently looking at a shed / storage area

Seating / bbq will be next year & pergola / planting probably year after

I love Indian Sandstone and have it in my garden. It also cleans up very well with a jet washer. Your paving looks great. This is mine.
