I am struggling to find a good colour for the walls of my dining room. My husband is sick of the grey as every other room is a different shade of grey. Id like to keep the lower part of the wall the grey colour so there is a link with the rest of the house but any suggestions for the upper part?? Would textured wall paper work??
It appears to be a dark room. Lightening it up may satisfy your husband. No real reason every room in your house has to be grey; however if that is what your prefer.......
Wallpaper maybe a very good choice for this room - a print with gray in it as well as white & pops of other colour to lighten & brighten the room.
Changing the light fixture to something brighter & lighter looking would also do a lot to lighten up the balance of the room.
