What is wrong with these colours and how can I fix them?

I've recently repainted cold grey walls to this scheme. I am really worried it looks a bit too yellow/sickly and feel like the colours haven't really turned out as I'd imagined but I can't work out why. I now wonder whether all these colours are fighting each other too much?
We are considering sanding down the floor to its original pale colour, pic of floorboard attached.
I can't afford to redo the whole kitchen now but could do new doors and a new countertop.
We like the rug and green sofa and would want to keep these. We could change /get rid off the smaller bulky sofa.
I have three main questions:
1. Should we retain the current floor in this dark brown, sand it back to its original colour, or sand and stain it another shade altogether?
2. What colours should I consider in the kitchen to help harmonise everything?
3. What else could I do to make the room look nicer?
Room faces east and has good flat light through the day due to a large skylight. The light turns cooler in the evening and I would like the room to feel warm, relaxed and inviting.
Thanks in advance!
