Anthracite or white vertical radiators?

last year

In kitchen/diner/snug. Walls will be off white, base units navy and wall units white. Will anthracite be too dark and look odd? Anyone got any pics of theirs? are white radiators just boring though!

I have white vertical rads. Not boring imo

we have laquered raw steel and love them and have had lots of compliments. white kitchen, oak island. we thought white would be too boring since we have so much white in the kitchen already, and it would have just added another white (rather than match exactly the kitchen). we don't have anything anthracite so never considered that. the raw steel has more character and has a bit of a sheen without being shiny like chrome - and am sure they must hide the dust more than a white one would.

They will really stand out if that's what you want. After a while you might find it a bit jarring.

    Yes we’ve decided white.

I always chose white too unless it was against a stone wall or a dark colour like dark grey. Unless it's a designer style you don't really want to make a feature out of it. It's all dependent on the individual style and placement though.
