Anything I'm missing with my proposed bathroom design?

I'm planning my first major renovation at home and have found a builder I trust. That said, it seems like they’ll mostly be fitting what I provide rather than offering much guidance. So, I’ve tried to get the layout right myself and would love some feedback—especially on anything I might be overlooking (I already realized I forgot towel rails at first!).

Some key points:

  • The first picture shows the current layout, with the toilet against the garden wall. In the new design, the toilet will move.. The picture shows a gap but this will be a wall to wall unit covering up the pipework.
  • We're a family of four (two adults, two young kids).
  • Storage & hooks: Gold hooks on the wall are for our mesh sponges.
  • Towel radiator will be one that's enough to heat up the room.

My main concerns:

  • Is the towel rail too close to the toilet?
  • Will the towel rail be best placed to the left of the door? (where it currently is)
  • Is it worth flipping the toilet 90 degrees? Mains reason is to create a small/continuous floor space to clean. Don't have to go behind the toilet, under the bath etc.

Would love to hear if anything stands out as impractical or something I should consider before going ahead!
