It looks like a tidy house. Just a couple of things to satisfy yourself about.

Firstly it looks like some of the updates have been completed on a tight budget as evidenced by the absence of fanlight windows. Assuming you are buying this to live in you should satisfy yourself that the big ticket items are the quality you would have chosen- pay attention to the kitchen, bathroom, windows and flooring.

Given some skirting board is missing in the living room you should satisfy yourself that you are not buying many incomplete jobs.

You should be realistic about how much sun you will get in the east facing garden. Try an app called shade map to look at the plot- i think you will lose sun at lunchtime.

other plots on the same road have room at the side to extend but this one has limited opportunity to extend.

On the positives i think the house sits well on a wide road, the house is handsome, the block paved driveway is an unexpectedly expensive addition and looks great. i like the the plot appearing to be flat. plus the local authority always seemed to build to a good standard meaning the rooms will be bigger than most other houses with 2 bedrooms.

So managed to inspect the property, along with the same builder who helped refurbish my house in 2022

He’s now retired but came out to view the property. Like Jonathan, he has been a rock and a huge source of information

He picked up a few things, overall he said the house was tidy and safe

1) The hall way, which connects to the adjacent house. There is timber cladding to the wall, suggesting possibility of damp. As the other wall is at a higher soil level. He said he wasn't sure if there is damp but the presence of that timber radiator like covering, is usually meant it could be

He feels at some point there must have been sagging, as they have used a lintet.

Rest were fairly minor

There was condensation in of the windows and it might need replacing

The Chimeny has been sealed internally but opened externally. This could lead to condensation and he advised a metal

Need to check if there's a wall in the loft, separating the adjacent house as it will help with insurance and fire protection

The lintel is a good thing. Wooden windows were structural but UPVC windows are not as strong. It is really common for houses to move if they don’t add a lintel. I suspect there was a door with a window either side and when they have put the new doors in they have included a lintel to support the wall above.
