Hi all,
I’m redecorating a small walled garden and would love your input!
I’ve attached the original garden photo and a visual mock-up (via ChatGPT) of the layout I’m considering — artificial grass in the main area, a gravel path with large stepping stones on the right, and keeping the existing concrete border.
A few things I’d love advice or feedback on:
• Walkway width: Do you think a wide stepping-stone path works here, or would something narrower feel more balanced?
• Concrete border: Has anyone painted theirs? I’m debating whether to leave it raw or paint it (thinking dark grey or olive green?) — but open to ideas.
• Artificial grass over concrete: Any watch-outs or lessons learned? I’ve heard drainage and ventilation are important — what’s worked for you?
All thoughts welcome — thanks in advance!
