Help with garden makeover

The path to the shed in recent. Any help with what to do would be appreciated. Clay soil, on the coast so windy most days. North facing.

A few hardy shrubs would make a big difference. There are many types suitable for North facing clay soils. Try Griselinia Littoralis. I think your grass would benefit from a treatment too. Is that an oil tank at the rear? Consider screening it with panels that could support creepers. It looks like a newbuild, is it?

Pity you've laid a straight path. So many options, but screening the oil tank should be a priority.
