I am planning a renovation of my flat. I’m adding a small laundry room/ cupboard and I want unique solutions for doors for this space.

If I don’t find anything better, I will probably do double doors but would like to avoid this option because opening the doors would obstruct access to the bedroom and living room.

I really like the idea of doors that open like double doors and then slide into the sides of the cabinet. But I’ve only found one company that offer this sort of system and it’s hundreds of pounds. If you have any ideas for a diy solution that would work similarly, I would definitely be open to that.

Also open to any other option that I might not have thought of.
