Advice on Kitchen/Utility renovation
Comments (3)Hi - its such a big and important project, i really think you need to sit down with a good kitchen designer and fully tease out your requirements and then look at every possible layout option. by sitting down with someone, they will draw each possible layout to scale in front of you and that way you will be able to see the pros and cons of each design. it makes decision making much easier best of luck with the project Barry...See Moregarden help after renovation
Comments (1)Bumping this in the hope that someone might be able to help. The house is on a east-south-east - west-north-west direction, so we get the first patch of light in the bottom right hand corner, and the last of it on the patio in the evening. Id like a little seating area or something in that bottom right hand corner to go for a cuppa on a sunny morning. I was thinking of some sort of a living wall/trellis in front of the shed to screen it off, but not sure how this would look, or how to attach it to the shed...See MoreAwkward small front garden perspectives sought
Comments (0)Hi, I am in the process of renovating a house and garden (see image above). The wall on the right boundary is curved and restricts the ability to exit the car and is generally annoying for reversing out of the driveway. I was thinking a straight driveway and plants either side, flower beds to cover up the ugliness of the curved wall and lessen the visual impact. The renovated house will have a slightly extended porch and the white square (chimney) will be removed. Has anybody any design advice for this space or dealt with similar? I have a north facing orientation and the driveway may need to have space for two cars in time (not absolutely essential). I also have to store bins discreetly as no rear access sow as thinking of a wooden lift up board with plants and flowers going through it to disguise. Thanks for any suggestions....See Morehelp - renovating a period house and need to change room formation
Comments (22)These pictures are great, we will definitely do something with the small garden but I was thinking that the entrance floor which currently holds two living rooms will never be used unless we change this to the kitchen / living area as this is currently where we spend all our time. We could still have a small kitchenette in the basement next to the large sitting room to sit out on a nice day but otherwise I feel we will spend all our time on the entrance floor / first floor...See More- last month
