Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! This will elevate the mood of the room since you will need an upper emphasis once your room is anchored with the carpet. Comments (11)I would paint the room white and wall behind bed the same color pink that is in chair and then add prints above headboard and a large piece of art on wall on the right. Change pillows on chair and bed to modern and vibrant colors in grey/pink and yellow and add a coverlette to bottom. Purchase larger lamp for table on right and remove lamp from left side of bed and place a tray and some books on the ottoman. Move carpet to beside the bed. Comments (10)Hi Maria. It's a lovely kitchen and I must admit I like the white so would probably change the accessories. I would add a huge sunburst clock or mirror above the cabinets (can't work out if it's a clock or mirror above the fire). Add a statement light over the table. Try a coloured splashback behind the cabinets. Add some coloured stools. I would say paint the kitchen chairs but I can see they are good quality! If you do want to paint then either blues, violets or even a very soft grey if you add some coloured accesories. Let me send a better picture as it was evening then ! The walls at present are light . I want to get rid of the wallpaper too and have a feature wall ! There is a feature fireplace place too. The current carpet is or was a blue but it’s been down a long time ! The curtains are a plum / damson colour like the colour in the wallpaper.

Also I decorating my hallway stairs & landing any ideas on colour as I want to follow on from my lounge will be changing the dark wood paintwork to white . I have a small hallway any ideas?

2 months agoI would paint the room one colour as a feature wall will just draw in one wall and make the room seem narrower. What direction does it face north/south/east/west? If it's south facing you can get away with any colour really but if it is north or east facing you'll need to be careful using cold colours with blue or grey in them. I think you should put a cabinet under the TV to hide the wires too. Something like in the photo (but you're TV being mounted on wall instead).
