Comments (6)The color of cabinets looks yellow in picture...if it is ivory then any color you like would work...color is very personal and should relate to you and the rest of your home...try using houzz photos of kitchens to get ideas of which colors appeal to you...See MoreKitchen Colour
Comments (10)Hi, I think Elephant's Breath would be stunning. I used it before on a project in a open plan living and kitchen area in similar room position and it looks great. If you use the Elephant's Breath I would keep the cabinets one colour. The actual colour looks different at certain times of the day or under natural and artificial lighting. Sometimes it is more soft grey and dark and other times it's quite bright and light. I wouldn't go any darker than that. The tone is more in warm so no blue or cool grey. I would suggest that you mix the cabinet units with calacatta marble worktop and splashback which is a white marble. Or you can go the opposite way and use black marble like nero marquinia or dark granite. Natural wood would also look great. If you want another colour option I would also consider Old White No4. It's more into green tones and even warmer. I have a dining room project on my profile with the display cabinet painted in this colour. You can have a look there. Hope this helps. Comments (16)Adding more detail to my earlier comment, I don't like that equal or even heavier page weight is given to questions a user may have regarding some photo and a brand new feature story. There is no separation between the "shop Houzz" and the so-and-so liked a picture or added it to an ideabook. I don't really care whether someone I don't know added a picture to their ideabook or asked a question about a photo but I would like to see the new stories that Houzz writers have done. Not many people have the time, energy or will to go through so much effort to find those new stories that have so many times given so much information to Houzzers. Please stop trying to fix things that aren't broken. All these changes are taking away the uniqueness of what we all loved about Houzz in the first place....See MoreIrene Enriquez
