I would use very large scale tiles around the bath and shower area and tile to the ceiling. For the basin/vanity splashback I would also tile a wide strip all the way up. That small section behind the basin fragments the room. I would use the same tiles for both. Go for white or a light cream.

If you could squeeze in a freestanding bath then you could have the t&g panelling instead of tiling. So many options.

Hi Jess! If you're planning on re-doing the tiles we think running the tiles up to the top of the bath-tub area and alongside will look more cohesive. With the bathroom sink, you could always opt for a splashback if you're worried about overpowering the room with tiles. I hope this helps, Sarah! 😊

Would definitely suggest tiling up to the ceiling in the bath and shower area with a minimal number of breaks so there is a decent flow between spaces.

You can incorporate a feature on the bath panel (if you plan on doing this), basin splash back or feature the wall the with shower head. So many options as it all comes down to your likes and dislikes so be sure to incorporate your preferences in the design to make it unique.
